Our team played its next match. “Qarabağ” took the field for the second leg of the Azerbaijan Cup semi-final.

In the battle for a place in the final, our team faced “Sabah”. The match was held at Bank Respublika Arena.

After drawing the first leg in a high-scoring encounter, both teams once again displayed attacking football. The match was largely played with end-to-end action, as both sides created dangerous chances in the first half. Following the red card shown to our goalkeeper Mateus Kochalski, our team was reduced to ten men.

The outcome of the match was decided after the break. Our team opened the scoring early in the second half. Kamilo Duran found the net after an assist from Emmanuel Addai. However, the opposition scored twice in the closing stages to secure a 2:1 victory.
