Both teams deserved 1 point

After the 1–1 draw between Zira and Qarabağ in Matchday 14 of the Misli Premier League, our team’s head coach, Gurban Gurbanov, held a press conference. The experienced coach shared his thoughts about the match:

“I thank the players and fans of both teams. We played against a good team. It was a tense battle, and the players spent a lot of energy. Both teams had cup matches during the week. That’s why it’s understandable that the intensity wasn’t very high towards the end of the match. In any case, both teams deserved at least one point.”

Our head coach also spoke about the upcoming Champions League League Stage Matchday 6 match against Ajax:
“We have watched Ajax’s games. In their last match, they changed their system. They also have a game today, and we will watch that too. Besides that, we have two more matches to review. We will play Ajax at home, and we will try to do everything to achieve the maximum result. But the opponent also thinks the same. With disciplined play, we will try to get the result we need.”
