Gurban Gurbanov: "We will try to be ready for the first match"

In today’s draw for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, our team's opponent was determined. Qarabağ will face the winner of the Shelbourne – Linfield tie. Our head coach Gurban Gurbanov commented on the draw:

"We haven't played against such teams for a long time. Although Linfield is a familiar opponent to us. We had intense matches against them before. Overall, they are a stable team. Irish football has also started to develop rapidly. Both teams might not be very suitable opponents for us. After quickly gathering detailed information, we will prepare seriously. Such teams have a strong desire, preferring speed and physical football. In any case, there are no weak teams in the Champions League; all are ambitious. We have about a month. We want to use this time properly. Our first match will be away, and the distance to these countries is very far. However, we should not consider this a problem. We will build a program accordingly. Regardless of any difficulties, long travel, or weather conditions, we will try to be ready for the first match."
