“I congratulate my players. They played well. We achieved an important three points. I would like to thank the fans of both teams. Some rotations were necessary. We made this decision considering the players’ fitness levels. Many of them have been playing in a very tight schedule. Some players were quite tired. At the same time, the players were training well, preparing properly, and wanted to show themselves from a good side.

Playing against Neftçi does not require much extra motivation for the players. It is always a pleasure to play against this team in such a beautiful stadium. These are always good matches for the fans as well.”
