Qarabağ played its next match in the Misli Premier League, hosting Kapaz in the 35th round of the season.

The match, held at Azersun Arena, began at a high pace. Both teams searched for goals from the first minutes. As the game progressed, our players took control of the match. This led to frequent dangerous moments near the opponent’s goal. The pressure paid off in the 31st minute when Leandro Andrade scored a stunning long-range goal. The league’s top scorer increased his season tally to 15 goals in the Premier League.

Kapaz’s goalkeeper prevented the score from increasing in the first half. Likewise, our goalkeeper, Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev, also made an excellent save to keep the scoreline intact.

Fans witnessed an engaging battle in the second half as well. Both teams tried to score with fast-paced attacks. In the 72nd minute, after a corner kick, Aleksey Kashuk doubled the lead with a close-range shot. Ten minutes later, Musa Gurbanli sealed the victory with a one-on-one finish against the goalkeeper.

Thus, with a 3–0 win, our team increased its point tally to 86. Qarabağ will play its final match of the season away against Shamakhi on May 24.
